Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives, for which the Society is established, are as follows:-

1. To make use of EDUSAT for various developmental /social / educational / health / literary / cultural / research programmes etc., and all activities related to EDUSAT, such as:-

   • Purchase of equipment and other material;

   • Empanelment of faculty;

   • Recruitment of staff;

   • Scheduling of lectures.

2. To conducting examinations and counseling for admission in various courses/entrance examinations.

3. To start Post Diploma and Short Certificate Courses.

4. To set-up world class Test Houses Calibration and Consultancy Services.

5. To provide Human Resource consultancy services.

6. To provide technical education consultancy and preparation of detailed project Report.

7. To provide continuing education.

8. To provide distance education

9. To provide a platform for distance and continuing education efforts of other organizations.

10. To act as a repository of webcasts, presentations and other material from conferences/workshops/seminars organized in Delhi.

11. To provide Technical Education Outreach Scheme through Modular Training Programmes for this purpose Capacity enhancement of NGO’s grant will be given to participating NGOs initially on the basis of proposal submitted by them and thereafter grants will be released strictly on the performance on the parameters listed by the Department. The schemes shall also be provided for Citizen Related Services through web enabled services such as hiring of governess, driver, trained nurse, etc.

12. Faculty Development Programs i.e.:-

    1. Need based courses to keep pace with the current changes in the industries requirement new courses will be introduced from time to time and staff will be provided adequate training for the same.

    2. Attending of Conferences, Paper Presentation, and Seminars Etc.

    3. Packaged Honorarium will be provided to attract the eminent faculties from industry and other organization for teaching one full time course per semester.

    4. Study Leave, Book Grants etc. will be given to the staff for enhancing their qualification and update their knowledge from time to time.

13. Work for welfare of SC/ST/OBC’s/Minorities/Economically weaker sections of society by providing them extra coaching, financial assistance and opening night schools for needy.

14. Work as a think tank for the development of Technical and Vocation Education.

15. To work for the development of Collaborative arrangement with institutions of Repute.

16. Conducting Student and Faculty Exchange Programmes in India and Abroad.

17. Bring about technology transfer through collaboration between technical education institutes and reputed institutions such as leading industrial houses, R & D organizations etc,

18. Bring about technology transfer, by acting as an interface between institutions of repute, industries, civil society organizations, Government Departments and their agencies and community at large.

19. To enter into collaborations with leading industry houses to support the institutes by sponsoring machinery & equipment, and setting up of Laboratories.

20. Sponsoring students and faculty for R&D or application development projects as per requirement.

21. Inviting Core experts of their respective fields from the industry may be invited on regular basis as expert faculty to provide latest training as per industry standards.

22. Filing for patents on behalf of members and assisting in the commercialization of the patents.

23. Self Sustainability of Society shall be ensured by following means:-

    1. Conducting various examinations and counseling for admissions in various courses/entrance examination and other related activities

    2. Providing services to industry and vulnerable sections of society.

    3. Providing consultancy services

24. Supporting the construction activities of major projects under Department of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

25. Any other work related to knowledge promotion.
